As a full spectrum intuitive Doula, Spiritual Life coach and Reiki practitioner , I combine ancestral practices, herbal remedies, empathy and care to assist birthing families through the birthing journey by providing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual support and maintenance . It is my goal to empower you by supporting your birth wishes providing education, Full scope birthing services such as pregnancy support, labor/delivery support, postpartum care and certified lactation consultation. I also serve families who have experienced pregnancy loss or the loss of a loved one through transitional doula services. , and certified lactation counseling.
The idea of "giving birth" often causes parents to fear the process of the journey. Please Trust in knowing Your body already knows what to do. It's this fear we fill with faith, knowledge, empathy and support by trusting the human body to do what is has been designed to do.
As your doula and a member of your birth team, it is my divine delight to show up for your family as needed to keep your birth space sacred and empowered. Every birthing person needs a Gentle Beginning into their fresh start. The beginning matters.

At Gentle Beginnings LLC, we believe that Birth is Spiritual. We honor the transformative power of childbirth and believe in the spiritual significance of "rebirth" as a sacred rite of passage-a profound journey that extends beyond the physical realm. Pregnancy, Birth and the adjustment phase of having a baby or experiencing any other significant life changes/transitions, can bring about a multitude of emotions such as joy, happiness, anxiety, fear and nervousness all rolled into one. With so many decisions to make and so much information to navigate through, the journey can often feel overwhelming and confusing, causing you to be unsure of which direction to turn to find the answers that make sense to you and your unique experience.
Adding a doula to your support team gives you the calming reassurance that every expectant parent needs. A doula can help guide you through the decisions you need to make and provide you with unwavering support, guidance, information and advocacy you need to feel calm, confident and empowered for your birth Journey from beginning to end, and everything in between.

A Doula is a trained professional who provides unbiased nurturing care and compassionate support physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually throughout major life events.
Your birth and postpartum Doula is the supportive person who nurtures your pregnancy, birth and the first steps into parenthood by ensuring you and your family are knowledgeable about your birthing rights, informed consent, risks and procedures through evidenced-based care. Our intentions are to empower your family through this magical experience while offering your family a safe space to grow. After assessing your pregnancy, birthing and postpartum wants and needs, a Doula creates a special personalized plan tailored specifically to support you and your growing family.
